Hopeful pedagogies and didactics from interculturality in a National Pedagogical University
Main Article Content
Abstract
Interculturality is a concept born of cultural anthropology to explain the sociocultural phenomena of inter-ethnic relations that arise in specific territorial space. Theoretical approaches to interculturality have also developed various positions that allow us to move from theoretical to public policy proposals. In other words, interculturality becomes action through programs and strategies for conflict resolution or understanding between different groups. This has allowed two things: first, interculturality as a theoretical concept and approach that is no longer proper to anthropology, but to other disciplines such as history, politics, medicine and of course pedagogy. Second, intercultural approaches have enabled the creation and development of methodologies that contribute to the enrichment of new knowledge and strategies. In this sense, the purpose of this work is to reflect and the proposal to work interculturality in educational projects and intervention in students of indigenous pedagogy and education. Thinking about interculturality should not only be knowledge of the theoretical approach, but a practice of the teacher that contributes to the training of students in the UPN.The work is divided into three sections: the first is a theoretical revision of those understood by interculturality ranging from anthropological, philosophical and pedagogical approaches. In this part they will rely on various authors such as Sandoval Forero (2018, 2016), Catherine Walsh (2009), Walter Mignolo (2010), Hannibal Quijano (2014), Edgardo Lander (2010), Dietz Gunther (2016), Souza (2010) to name a few.The second part shows how some of these approaches have been worked on by some UPN 151 teachers in Toluca and Ixtlahuaca, finally a discussion and suggestions on how to implement these approaches
