The right to peace and its development in history

Abstract

The book El Derecho a la Paz y sus desarrollos en la historia (The Right to Peace and its development in history) is part of the work carried out by the recognized research group GIR "Historia de los derechos humanos" (History of Human Rights) of the University of Salamanca (Spain). It intends to deal with the different perspectives of major researchers on the question of whether or not and to what extent there is a right to peace. Each will answer these questions, depending on his or her experience and research approach. Therefore, it is a fascinating book that orients the reader towards a path with diverse nuances, which goes beyond the academic schemes in order to tell the narratives that arise when we talk about peace, from a decolonial, feminist, philosophical and historical point of view.
