Abstract
This issue of the CoPaLa Journal, Construyendo Paz Latinoamericana, brings together a series of research articles, reflections and transformative proposals that meet the new needs of peace building, integral and lasting, in the face of the new challenges of society and schools.
The thematic lines that were called to integrate the 17th issue of CoPaLa Magazine were theoretical and methodological perspectives on issues of democracy, peace, conflicts, violence, interculturality, human rights, non-violence,
education for peaceful coexistence, methods of conflict management, resolution and transformation; as well as everything related to social development, critical pedagogies and participatory action research experiences for the construction of peace in social, family, educational and educational contexts.

Seventeen manuscripts were received, both from Mexico and Latin America, of which 11 were positively reviewed.
The annual acceptance rate has been 64%. We invite you to continue submitting papers in our next calls for papers.
We take this opportunity to acknowledge the academic and professional work of the external reviewers from different academic institutions, who enriched the published papers with their observations and suggestions.
