The Matlatzinca worldview about environmental riks. A sustainability element?

Abstract
The Matlatzinca people are an original group rooted in their beliefs, uses and customs, the vision that the Matlatzincas have about nature and, specifically, about environmental risks is not necessarily equivalent to the hegemonic vision. In the present work, the worldview of the Matlatzinca community of nature and the conception of environmental risks were investigated in order to generate an approach to the vision of this native people and thus, analyze if this worldview can be considered as an element of the sustainability proposed from the south. To achieve the objective, classical ethnography tools such as direct observation and in-depth interview were used; elements of the Matlatzinca concept about nature and its own phenomena were obtained, such as environmental risks expressed in the form of narratives, myths and legends that showed an alternative vision to the dominant one, in which spiritual values ??are assigned to each one of these phenomena and a relationship of harmony with them is maintained.
