Persistent Identifiers and Metadata Policy
Revista CoPaLa. Construyendo Paz Latinoamericana uses persistent identifiers to strengthen the location, retrieval, citation, traceability, preservation and academic visibility of its contents.
DOI
Since 2019, the articles and issues published by the journal have DOI, Digital Object Identifier, when applicable. This identifier makes it possible to guarantee a permanent link to the published contents through the registration, tracking and updating of their editorial metadata.
Each DOI is managed through Crossref using the Open Journal Systems, OJS, platform. To ensure proper consultation, the DOI is presented as a full URL link on the article page, in the issue presentation, in PDF files and in the available editorial metadata.
ORCID iD
The ORCID iD is mandatory for authors who submit works to Revista CoPaLa. This persistent identifier makes it possible to accurately distinguish authors, facilitate recognition of their academic contributions, strengthen the interoperability of scientific information and reduce attribution or registration errors.
Authors must provide their ORCID iD at the time of manuscript submission. If they do not have this identifier, they must obtain it directly from the official ORCID website.
Editorial Metadata
The editorial metadata of each publication include, as applicable, title, authorship, institutional affiliation, country, ORCID iD, abstract, keywords, bibliographic references, DOI, usage license, publication date, issue, editorial section and manuscript language.
The journal promotes the complete, standardized and updated registration of metadata in order to support the indexing, interoperability, retrieval, preservation and academic circulation of published contents.
